Chief Operating Officer – Engineer
Hampshire salary circa GBP150,000
Our client a global leader in thier field are seeking to strengthen the management team for the exciting future ahead in 2021. They are seeking to recruit a Chief Operating Officer for this senior Leadership role to plan direct and oversea the company's operational policies procedures initiatives and goals and help execute long term and short term plans and strategic objectives implementing judgement ,vision, management and leadership. The ideal candidate will have an Engineering degree MBA or equivalent, Lean manufacturing and supply chain experience and a proven track record of leadership management and experience in the manufacturing production environment with a working knowledge of service. an astute people manager with proven commercial acumen recognising this role wins business.

The Role : Will be managing the engineering and manufacturing teams in the UK and US as well as the inventory and order management team who manage the spares,distribution and shipping globally.
A team player with strong leadership skills–takes ownership and gts people to follow
An Engineering degree – MBA – Engineer trained
Must have Lean Manufacturing
Design for manufacture/service understanding
Supply chain management experience
Responsibility for Global IT
Must have International work experience
A Senior Leadership Team role which has senior level direct reports and is responsible for the operational success of the busines across multi national boundaries and associated operating cost budget
To provide inspirational leadership thereby creating a desire for technical excellence that proactively supports
customer requirements creating products that are deliveres in a timely manner to the market place.
Working closely with Supply chain Manufacturing and Sales and Marketing to contribute significantly to the design and development of a product road map which takes into account the need for lean manufacturing processes
Measures effectivenessand efficiency of operational processes and finds ways to improve
Develops and implements growth strategies
Motivates staff to meet or surpass organisational and sales goals
To provide Leadership and Mentoring across the Engineering Teams Internationally
