Wood Mackenzie products serve many customers across the energy and natural resources sectors that depend on data, insight tools, and business process automation solutions which are delivered through API's and User Interfaces. The team are currently working on a next–generation, data analysis & visualization platform utilized by our customer to drive billion–dollar decisions.

We are looking for a VP, Product Management to lead our product management organisation and portfolio to leverage the new platform. You will be a key driver in the transformation of the business to being product and customer–led. Acting as a partner and enabler across the business to embed consumer and customer insights into daily decision–making and product roadmaps.

This role will also work with the regional and sector leads to ensure products and solutions are built to fit customer needs whilst remaining scalable.

About the role

You will lead, develop and drive a world class product management team who are responsible for delivering a programme of product enhancements, monitoring and owing return on investment, and communicating with a large and varied stakeholder group including executive and senior–level management on a daily basis. You will be responsible for;

* Recruit new product talent to complement and complete the existing team.

* Create an environment that will deliver enduring success through a combination of culture creation, the rollout of necessary processes and governance, people, and team coaching.

* Create a culture focused on solving customer /user business problems.

* Lead effective communications across the organisation driving the shift to be a product–led organisation.

* Create an environment that fosters innovation and collaboration with all team members, where all individual activities contribute to the overall team outcomes in a 'one team' approach.

* Deliver a product strategy as part of the corporate business plan including competitor product analysis.

* Review, define and implement a series of compelling product offerings which are the most appropriate product packages per segment and markets at optimal pricing.

* Deliver and manage an efficient global product portfolio including global products and some regional products. This will require full lifecycle management, roadmap governance, prioritisation, and driving high–quality decisions.

* Drive penetration while ensuring maximum incremental monetisation of new propositions

* Coordinate and streamline the roadmap input funnel.

* Support product launch including support for marketing, sales, customer support.

* Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing to achieve best–in–class go–to–market capability.
