We’re proud to be working with Barnardo’s to recruit a Senior Integration Manager (Fundraising Projects Manager). This is a fascinating role where you can make a measurable difference to Barnardo’s fundraising activities.
Barnardo’s are one of the UK’s top charity brands and run over 1000 projects that transform the lives of children, young people, parents and carers. Their work supports children living in poverty, children that have been sexually exploited, children living with a disability, children living with domestic violence and young carers. The fundraising team raise circa £43 million annually to provide this crucial support.
This Senior Manager will support the Fundraising department’s strategic plans by delivering integrated campaigns and other Fundraising projects. They will operate as a dedicated project manager, responsible for the delivery and performance of campaigns and projects. Through effective project management, collaborative approaches and strong communications, they will embed integrated working in Fundraising and the wider organisation. As a key member of the Innovation team, they will work with the Head of Innovation to drive an opportunistic, audience–first and robust test and learn approach to campaign development.
Key responsibilities include:
Work closely with the Head of Innovation and other FLT members to support the delivery of the Fundraising Strategic Aims of ‘Breaking down silo’s’ and ‘Stronger Together’ through the initiation and delivery of key projects and initiatives.
Operate as project manager – responsible for budget management, stakeholder and project team management, risk management, scheduling and campaign asset management for integrated campaigns and projects.
Through strong communications and stakeholder management, raise awareness and organisational buy–in to integrated campaigns, projects and new initiatives.
Develop long term/multi–year activation plans to ensure year on year growth of integrated campaigns and support the Head of Innovation to identify and prioritise new and growth opportunities.
Develop and refine a strong framework for integrated campaign delivery, supporting the Director of Fundraising to embed integrated ways of working in Fundraising and beyond.
Identify opportunities for greater financial impact by working collaboratively across Fundraising and engage teams in activities and initiatives to deliver on them.
Ideally your experience will include:
Knowledge and practical understanding of traditional and agile project management methodologies and techniques
Knowledge of integrated marketing and communications techniques and approaches
Managing multi–stakeholder projects in a large/complex organisation
Leading and motivating a collaborative project team
Developing and delivering integrated marketing and communications campaigns
Setting and managing income and expenditure budgets
