Ignata Finance are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a Private Equity backed Software business to recruit an Interim Group Finance Manager based in London.
This is an urgent hire for the team as the business is at an exciting, highly acquisitive stage of growth. The successful candidate needs to be immediately available or on one weeks’ notice maximum. You must also have experience within a fast-paced, software organisation.
You will be responsible for an onshore and offshore team of 4/5, and you will be reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller. There is potential for this to be a sole interim assignment, or a temp to permanent opportunity.
The Role
As the Interim Group Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
The successful candidate should have strong audit background with at least 2 years’ post audit experience in a similar role.
The role is paying £325 - £375 per day (Inside IR35), depending on experience.

The Role
As the Interim Group Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Take full ownership of the annual audit process, and ensure their preliminary audit and final audit is managed to meet the deadlines
- Responsible for the complete consolidation process including elimination entries and acquisition accounting
- Ensure the Group and local entity Statutory Accounts are prepared and submitted on time
- Manage a team of 4/5 people
- Manage the accounting and integrations for newly acquired businesses
- Prepare the monthly management reports for senior stakeholders
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed on time
- Any other ad-hoc duties
The successful candidate should have strong audit background with at least 2 years’ post audit experience in a similar role.
- Fully ACA qualified
- At least 2 years post audit experience
- Experience of multi-currency consolidation
- Ability to work within a strong team environment as well as independently
- Significant experience with IFRS
- Experience working in a PE environment
- Strong Excel skills
- Demonstrable experience with consolidated financial statements
- Previous experience of working in a software company
- Experience in working in an international business
- Salesforce and NetSuite experience desirable
- Excellent communication skills
