As a Project Manager for Rexel UK, you will be responsible for the planning, organisation, execution and successful delivery of the Companies Supply Chain & Distribution model.

The role's purpose is to support and implement the transformation program of the logistics vision by identifying and managing the delivery of key projects and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple channels within fast–moving Logistics operations.

The Role:

As a Project Manager for Rexel, your main accountabilities will be to:

* Work within the Supply Chain Transformation team to identify and evaluate project/business requirements recognize required actions, presenting a rational and justified business case for required projects

* Manage projects on an end–to–end basis covering: project dependencies, project tracking, reporting, risks and issues as well as maintaining a robust governance and control framework, along with the production of control documentation

* Ensure projects are delivered within agreed plans, on time, within set quality parameters and to agreed budgets taking prompt and appropriate action to correct any shortfalls in performance within project scope

* Establish and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the continued development of our Customer delivery offer, encouraging close collaboration with multiple stakeholders, achieving targets as a team

* Provide support to workstreams, offering a bridge between PMO, the teams and expected delivery outputs

* Manage risks, issues and queries liaising with project sponsors and key stake holders to ensure speedy resolution of issues

* Provide management with required reports, information and feedback to contribute to effective strategic planning, budgeting and performance management of the business in agreed formats and within agreed timescales.

* Development of relevant policies, processes and documentation to ensure a continued successful delivery of implemented processes

* Maintain ethical standards in accordance with Rexel UK Ltd. policies, the Company's compliance guidelines and UK legislation

The Person:

To be a Project Manager for Rexel, you will need:

* Direct and solid experience of delivering complex projects / programmes, coupled with a good understanding of project management, tracking, planning and reporting

* Highly able and effective communicator in customer relationship building across all business audiences

* A demonstrable track record of delivering first–class customer service through project management and delivery

* Matrix management and multi–stakeholder engagement leading teams to deliver new concepts and build confidence to drive forward major change programmes

* Experience of presenting situations, demonstrating the ability to articulate the need for project structure and how it will be achieved

* Strong change management experience, demonstrating the ability to lead from the front to streamline processes and drive efficiency

To be a successful Project Manager at Rexel, you must have:

* Strong knowledge of project management and associated methodologies in relation to planning, monitoring and controlling projects throughout their lifecycle

* Remote management and coaching skills to lead the project workstreams to achieve

* Knowledge of Project planning systems (e.g. Microsoft Project) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Risk logs)
