Based: Liverpool
Salary: highly dependent on experience, excellent enhanced pension, travel passes, 28 days + stats and opportunities to progress
Four Recruitment are exclusively partnering with a national service provider based in central Liverpool , looking to appoint a Financial Controller. This is a newly created role reporting into the Finance Director and an excellent opportunity to drive the business forward and grow with thebusiness. We are looking for a forward-thinking Financial Controller who is able to anticipate the demands of the business, minimising risk and maximising opportunity. An excellent opportunity to shape this newly created role as required and be a part of enhancing reporting and driving efficiences via automation

Key responsibilities include:
- Budget analysis for cash flow and balance sheet implications
- Managing the audit process and liaising with external personnel and shareholders
- Oversee the preparation of year end statutory accounts
- Contributing to company financial strategy and decision making process
- Undertaking financial analysis and reporting
- Ensuring robust financial systems and processes are in place
- Overseeing tax and compliance
- Developing forecasting models (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
- Managing, mentoring and motivating a finance team of three
Experience:
- ACA/ACCA qualified with a technical/practice trained background
- Experience of SAP would be highly advantageous
- Management experience highly desirable
- Ability to be agile and proven experience driving/implementing business processes
