Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert and professional advice and guidance to managers and staff on all employment and HR matters.

* Provide advice and guidance on all aspects of the Employee lifecycle e.g. onboarding, probation, progression, performance management.

* Monitor and maintain the use of the HR systems to ensure that all staff records are captured and provided securely and timely, as required within the limits of GDPR.

* Develop and implement learning, development and retention strategies and actions.

* Manage and maintain implementation of current and new HR policies and procedures.

* Facilitate and maintain communication through various channel, e.g. monthly breakfast meeting, employee committee, period pulse survey and annual engagement survey.

* Provide monthly HR input to ZDF report, conduct annual hourly rate analysis.

* Develop talent acquisition strategies & hiring plans, manage all recruitment activities.

* Maintain high ratio of direct candidates to fulfil all ongoing company staffing needs from direct sourcing channels.

* First line liaison and relationship management of external recruitment agencies.

* Continuously strive to improve the HR support through expert advice and guidance to line managers.

* Ensure compliance across the business with UK employment law, statutory regulations and Company policy & procedures.

* Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

* CIPD qualified or working towards Level 5 and above

* Previous experience in a HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role

* Experience within the automotive industry is desirable

* Up to date in interpreting, advising and implementing policies and procedures in regard to Employee relations and Employment Law

* Demonstrates tact and diplomacy and the ability to deal with difficult situations

* Effectively communicate with people at all levels within the Company

* Up to date in interpreting, advising and implementing policies and procedures in regard to Employee relations and Employment Law

* Confidential and accountable, at all times

* Work on own initiative in a fast–paced, pressure environment

* Positive and can–do attitude and is solution focused
