Hiring Senior Pharmacology professional for pre–clinical/clinical pharmaceutical drug development company!
The company is an exciting pharmaceutical company in pre–clinical phases. The senior management in the company is made up of seasoned industry experts, which also shows in the financial backing they have received. The company's pipeline is utilising proprietary advanced techniques.
For their continued growth, and to take them into clinical phases, they are now hiring a Director of Pharamcology and Pharmacometrics. In this role you will be responsible for the DMPK activities to support the drug development program. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and interpret the pharmacokinetic program in support of the drug discovery programs.
You have extensive experience in Pharmacology, DMPK and ADME. You can provide expert advise to the drug development team, and work confidently across different teams. You may already have been in a similar position, or you are in a senior position ready to take this step up. This is a small company still in rapid development, so you will need the right mindset to work as part of smaller teams.
*Responsibility:
*– Provide strategic and hands–on leadership relating to DMPK to address ADME in pipeline candidates
– Oversee PK and PK/PD analysis during late–stage lead optimisation through pre–clinical development
– Oversight and interpretation of bioanalysis and toxicokinetic aspects of pre–clinical studies.
– Develop and oversee early clinical pharmacology plans and execution, incorporating modelling/simulation.
– Identify potential hurdles in projects, suggest solutions and establish back–up plans
– As required hire, train, and manage the phamacology team to deliver targets
*Background:
*– PhD in relevant life science field
– Expertise in DMPK and ADME in particular in transition to clinical phases
– 10+ Years experience in drug development in multiple programs
