Skilled Careers are working with a market leading M&E contractor with a strong presence across the commercial fit out, pharmacuetical and data centre sectors who require a Mechanical Project Manager on a freelance basis to work on a healthcare project in the Cambridge area. The contract will run for approximately 12 months and will be paid outside of the IR35 restrictions.
Duties Include: • Key to this role is programme management, ensuring key deadlines are met • Design Review liaising with consultants, client and main contractor • Procurement • Coordination of subcontractors and project team, working specifically on the sprinkler contractors • Overseeing a team of engineers and construction managers • Reporting on quality, H&S and cooperate governance. • Chairing meetings internally and externally • Management of commissioning stages and project handover to the client
