My client is looking for a dynamic, driven and forward thinking Financial Controller to join the team and support the future growth of their fast changing business. You will be responsible for:
Ideally, you will have a can do attitude and a hands-on approach and a desire to add value to a fast-growing business. Candidates should have a strong academic background including an accounting qualified such as (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 2-3 years PQE, preferably within an SME environment. You will be highly organised with a good eye for detail and a high degree of efficiency. Advanced Excel skills is necessary and previous use of Sage and g-suite would be beneficial. Experience working within a multi-currency environment with working knowledge of VAT, payroll, consolidations and implementing and improving processes is highly desirable.

- Overseeing the management accounts preparation and management reporting for multiple entities
- Reviewing and supervising Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Management of outsourced payroll for 70-100 employees including UK, Belgium and Germany payrolls
- VAT completion and submission
- Monthly cash flow reporting
- HMRC account ownership
- Statutory account preparation
- Balance sheet management and control
- Oversee the monthly intercompany billing process
- Team management and development of 2 direct reports
- Ongoing process improvement and automation
- Ad-hoc projects and analysis
