Head of Site Operations – East Anglia

Overview:

Eden Brown Synergy (Corporate Services Division) are working in partnership with an NHS Trust who is looking for an experienced Head of Site Operations based in East Anglia. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer you will lead the operational day to day flow of patients through the emergency and elective pathway ensuring safety and capacity is utilised fully and provide proactive leadership to the site operations centre and complex discharge team.

The Role:

As Head of Site Operations, you will responsible for achieving performance and quality targets, overseeing the work of the duty hospital manager and operational site teams and represent the Trust at key meetings with commissioning colleagues regarding key performance metrics relating to ED and Complex Discharge.

Other key responsibilities include management of the Hospital site management team, give effective leadership to its work particularly at times of high emergency workload when beds and other services are under pressure, full accountability for the budgets of several services including all aspects of financial control in line with agreed Trust standing financial instructions.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

Significant working experience within the NHS, proven track record of consistently achieving challenging healthcare targets and ideally a formal qualification in a clinical field.
