As Head of Business Advocacy, you will mobilise businesses in support of our policy, advocacy and campaigning objectives. Working as part of a ‘matrix’ team you will shape and lead our business advocacy strategy to ensure we are as effective as possible in our advocacy outreach and engagement. Your role will be key to making sure the business voice around the COP is progressive and ambitious when it comes to tackling climate change and delivering on the Paris commitment to keep warming to 1.5C. You will also engage with food retailers to ensure they play their role in reducing emissions and transforming the food sector.

For this role, you must have significant experience of working with businesses and driving change in the private sector. This will include engaging with businesses to deliver change on either social or environmental issues. Able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the environmental and climate change challenges facing businesses and their supply chains, you will be skilled of at developing policy, advocacy and campaigning. Comfortable operating at CEO and Director level, you will be a natural leader who can bring creative and innovative ideas as well as drive strategy from design through to delivery and impact.  Passionate for our mission, you will also be effective at influencing stakeholders as well as having excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

We believe in the potential of everyone regardless of; sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic origin, different physical ability, family structure, socio–economics, age, nationality or citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other aspect that makes you, well you.  Here at WWF we’re committed to conscious inclusion that helps cultivate an ethos of belonging, connection and shared purpose.  We believe that the more diverse we are the better we become; this brings us together and empowers us to develop, engage and inspire; and critically to help build a future where people can live in harmony with nature.

Our policies and benefits reflect the importance of people being able to have a good work–life balance and being able to bring their ‘full self’ to work.

Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We’re looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.
