Project Manager
As a Project Manager for RMGroup you will be responsible for the implementation and execution of a project allocated to you. Your performance will be measured on your attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and customer satisfaction.
Project Manager Duties and Responsibilities
Your role will involve working closely with a project co–ordinator under your guidance to ensure the following key duties are met;
* Accept project from Technical Sales Team and agree on specification and delivery lead time.
* Liase with Electrical, Mechanical and Design Managers to compile project schedule to include key milestones
* Communicate to the Manufacturing Manager desired lead times for each project, and agree on factory acceptance schedules.
* Continuously monitor project timelines – Complete weekly schedule of works, assemble and co–ordinate site fitters (electrical and mechanical).
* Update project progression within ERP system
* Conduct site visits customer from sales handover to delivery and installation.
* Report on project progression to Operations Manager and company Directors.
* Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
* Responsible for completion of Initial deisgn specification in line with order confirmation and distribution to departmental managers.
* Following the project management procedure and populating the customer technical file to assist the Compliance Manager.
* Responsible for the completion of relevant H&S documents prior to working on site. Consideration for current legislation and Health and Safety regulations as well as RMGroup's Health and Safety policy.
* Work within processes and procedures outlined in the Quality Manual ISO 9001:2015
Project Manager Desirable Skills and Experience
* HNC/HND, foundation degree in engineering desirable (electrical or mechanical)
* Strong planning and organisation skills and a high level of attention to detail
* Good communication skills, and ability to build relationships with customers
* Good leadership skills, and proven management skills
* Experience with ERP software and processes desirable but not essential
Working Hours: 08:00am–05:00pm Monday–Friday
Holidays: 24 Days + Bank Holidays
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience
