Interim Head of Management Accounts | 70k | 3–6–month FTC | Leeds
As Head of the Management Accounts team your role will be to lead and develop a team of Management Accountants. Working closely with the business, you and the team will support all areas of the business, providing detailed analysis and a business partnering service.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts along with analysis, partnering with budget holders to assess operational performance, manage and mentor the team and compile reports and performance packs for the monthly performance reviews. In addition, you will be continuing the delivery of improvements to the accounting function and building strong relationships with other parts of the finance function.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) with strong management skills, a flexible approach, experience of process improvements and will have strong analysis skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
