Seven Resourcing is looking for an Experienced Project Manager to fill an exclusive opportunity working as part of the Business Systems and Change Programme Team in West Northamptonshire.

Key Responsibilities:

To define and agree business requirements, undertaking all planning and coordination of the project. Required to recommend appropriate solutions and is ultimately accountable for delivering a solution that meets the service needs.
To ensure all stakeholders and their degree of interest in a project/project outcome are identified. To actively engage with the SRO and other stakeholders during the course of a project and communicate effectively to ensure expectations are met, the solution is successfully delivered and benefits realised.
To comply with Prince2 and the PMO standards to ensure that projects are defined, governed and managed as appropriate.
To work within an allocated budget, responsible for the monitoring and reporting of all budgetary spend. Responsible for ensuring the budget does not exceed constraints as set out by the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO). The post holder is expected to forecast spend and identify potential issues or risks related to resources through the life of a project.
To forecast and secure resources required for project work and monitoring spend for each project, making appropriate adjustments within agreed limits in order to see a project through to successful conclusion.
To manage the work allocation and priorities of the project team, whilst remaining accountable for the overall outcome of the project. Responsible for defining the work programme, including potential procurement processes, appropriate products, standards and timescales in accordance with PMO standards to ensure that the project delivers quality products to time and within budget.
Demonstrate awareness/understanding of equal opportunities and other people's behavioural, physical, social and welfare needs.
To ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and other persons, and to comply with the policies and procedures relating to health and safety within the department.
To carry out any other duties which fall within the broad spirit, scope and purpose of this job description and which are commensurate with the grade of the post.
Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Degree in related area, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:

Knowledge of project/change management concepts and methodologies e.g. PRINCE2.
Experience of managing small to medium sized projects ( Evidence of consistently achieved results within a largely unsupervised environment, but within clear accountability framework.
Experience of identifying, managing and influencing diverse stakeholders throughout all phases of a project.
Experience in recognising business inefficiencies and recommend/implement improvements
Demonstrable experience of managing budgets.
Demonstrable experience of leading people and teams.
Knowledge of ICT capabilities to meet business needs.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
