Head of HR
Home–based with Nationwide Travel

Who are we:

This is a senior HR role that sits within our UK Poultry division, representing more than half of 2 Sisters' business by sales and providing over a third of the UK's poultry. The division employs over 9,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
About the role
Reporting into the HR Director, as the Head of HR, you will be responsible for driving HR Strategy and Management across 13 UK sites. As a strong influencer, you will partner at Executive and Director level as well as the functional Heads of UK poultry, providing a true business partnering experience. You will be responsible for the implementation of the Group and Divisional HR plan as well as facilitating and supporting site HR plans.
Working within a matrix HR management structure, you will be accountable for the implementation and adherence to Group company and Divisional policies and practices and will provide operational HR advice and support to your stakeholder population, including leading on complex ER Casework.
Comfortable with HR Analytics, you will use data to identify trends to solve underlying ER issues and support overall operational efficiency and articulating the people experience through data to the Operational Leadership Team.
With a background in leading multi–site HR teams, you will have the opportunity to coach and develop a team of HR professionals to continue to shape a best in class HR Function. You will also act as an SME on people workstreams for key divisional projects.
About you:
* Experience in a comparable role, supporting a headcount of 5,000 employees as a minimum in a multi–site environment
* Experience of operating in a unionised environment
* Significant Human Resources experience within FMCG
* Demonstrable hands–on attitude, with strong recent operational and ER experience
* Exceptional stakeholder skills with a proven ability of influencing at all levels up to and including C–suite
* Demonstrable ability to lead and develop an HR team within a matrix structure
* Strong analytical capability with a proven ability to analyse HR metrics to inform short/medium– and long–term plans
* Proven record of building and implementing new people processes and systems
* Experience in change management design and delivery
* CIPD Level 7 qualified
