We are currently working in collaboration with a leading tier one utility provider. The position will be key in helping to grow a newly formed multi utility division.

Salary to GBP150k | Company Equity | Incentivised Bonus | Car Allowance | Private Healthcare | 25 Days Holiday

Key Essentials:

* Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for growing the multi utility division initially in the South East with a view to increasing nationwide

* Analyse the client base across the business to establish a common approach for client retention and growth

* Develop and manage an up to date understanding of the multi utility division across small to large scale developments over the agreed plan period

* Develop and lead client business and marketing plans

* Enhance operational staff business development capabilities and work with them to achieve their winning work targets

* Adjudicate the inclusion of new opportunities in the tender bid pipeline

* Consider any economic implications for existing and new clients

* Undertake key research to understand the business and project drivers of sectors, customers and potential opportunities

* Build on existing client relationships

* Follow up on client quotes submitted to improve conversion rate

* Act as Key Account Manager for repeat business valued clients

* Keep in regular contact with clients to make sure a good client relationship is being maintained

* Organise and represent the business at networking events to raise the company profile

Requirements:

* Minimum 5 years' experience of Business Development in the Multi Utility Industry

* Detailed Knowledge of marketing and business development

* Experience of building commercial relationships to help deliver improved service and innovation to the customer

* Existing network of developer clients in the South East

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Able to prioritise and meet deadlines

* Ability to seek and develop new relationships to achieve strategic business objectives

* Ability to convert client relationships into real opportunities for the business
