Accountable are delighted to be working with a Manufacturer based in Deeside with a valuation in excess of £1bn.
They are looking to expand to their growing finance team with the addition of a Financial Reporting Manager, they will oversee a small but experienced team and focus on implementing and maintaining financial controls and reporting processes.

The Role:
- Responsible for the daily management of the Financial Reporting Team
- Responsible for the weekly preparation and review of snap P&L.
- The budgeting, reconciliation and re-forecasting of all site accounting costs.
- Responsible for reporting the monthly Consolidated Financial Statements (P&L and Balance Sheet) in accordance with defined SOX controls.
- Supporting the Balance Sheet reconciliation and review process; with any risks or opportunities clearly identified & communicated.
- Responsible for the preparation of local GAAP Financial Statements; liaising with the Financial Controller and external auditors to ensure compliance with local GAAP reporting requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Looking for ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong academic record, or CIMA with experience in a relevant / comparable sector.
- Experience of either working in or auditing the manufacturing sectors welcome.
- Good knowledge of US GAAP, UK accounting standards and UK tax. Knowledge of US tax.
- Ability to put financial theory into practice.
- Very well organised, capable of juggling multiple tasks and delivering to deadline.
