We are currently working with an established, family run organisation who are currently experiencing exceptional growth. They are now looking to bring on board an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help them expand their clientele. You will be the territory manager for the pharma and primary packaging manufacturing silo and will require the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. Target markets include Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and E–liquid.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through generating new business and forging strong relationships with clients.
You will be responsible for circa GBP2,500,000 from 20 existing accounts and will have a new business revenue growth target of GBP750,000+ in year one. There will also be an expectation of a future new business pipeline of GBP5,000,000+ after year 1.
Responsibilities...
* Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
* Keep records of pipeline, sales, revenue, invoices etc.
* Provide trustworthy feedback and after–sales support
* Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
* Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
* Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
* Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law–established rules and guidelines
* Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
* Monitor and analyse key account metrics (e.g. Weekly, Monthly, quarterly sales results, product usage, meetings)
* Build long–term relationships with new and existing customers
The ideal candidate will have the following, attributes and qualifications....

* Proven work experience in Sales and Business Development with a proven track record
* Knowledge of Primary packaging industry
* The ability to plan, prospect, gain opportunities and CLOSE deals!
* Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
* Professionalism – Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C–level.
* Experience in delivering client–focused solutions based on customer needs.
* Understanding of sales performance metrics
* An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office
* Business acumen with a problem–solving attitude
