JOB DESCRIPTION:

Part of a small team working for an engineering company where flexibility and a positive attitude are highly rated. The principle job activity is that of buying engineering parts, materials and services and the supervision of 1 x procurement admin person, but also a smaller Quality Assurance element in that the person fulfilling this role also co–ordinates the maintenance of our ISO 9001 accreditation.

Responsible for the daily procurement of the parts, materials and services required by an engineering business. Placing orders, negotiating commercial terms, keeping track of goods inwards deliveries to the schedule, approving payments for delivered goods, resolving issues of dispute.

Responsible for co–ordinating the maintenance of our ISO9001 accreditation with the assistance of external consultant (Approx. 10 days per year).

CANDIDATE:

Engineering knowledge and experience of buying in an engineering environment essential.

Experience of ISO 9001 or Quality Assurance advantageous

Computer literate with clean drivers license
