Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Project Manager within a Logistics setting for a new and exciting permanent position for a fast growing company in Plymouth.
Due to their ambitious growth strategy, our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to work from their Office.
Duties:
You will be required to oversee and control logistic project progress and estimate logistics related resources and time and establish priorities within the project team.
You will develop method of change management inclusive of process training and communication plans. You will also be required to identify, evaluate and define project needs and scope and oversee and control project milestones, timelines and risks impacting projects.
You will liaise with other departments within the organisation to ensure projects are delivered on time and establish goals and objectives for your team members.
This role will also involve you report writing and managing risk as well as risk mitigation planning. Preparing comprehensive project plans to assure deliverables are attained within budget, timeline and varied project objectives as defined by the project directive will also be required.
Skills required:
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate recent project management experience and be a confident communicator across multi departments and levels of an organisation.
You will have a strong analytical mind–set in order to interpret numbers as well as a strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
You will need to have vast experience with Microsoft Office in order to add formulas, work with data filters and modify files to sort data.
The ability to maintain critical thinking skills and manage multi projects in an ever evolving environment will also be required.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 845am until 530pm and offers a competitive rate of pay.
