A new opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Senior Business Development Manager to come on–board and join one of our successful verticals within GlobalData. You'll be responsible for selling new and exciting Business Intelligence products primarily over the phone.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years' experience within B2B sales.

The Role:

* Generating new business opportunities with prospective clients

* Building a strong pipeline of opportunities ensuring sales targets and KPI's are met

* Taking full ownership from beginning to the end of the sales cycle.

* Generating leads, demonstrating the Business Intelligence product, pricing, negotiation & closing.

* Building up long term relationships and developing account plans for prospective clients

Successful Candidates Must:

* Have sold into existing and new business and have had to consult, partner and demo the solution

* Have hit target for the past three years and are able to share this information readily

* Have worked within an eight/twelve–week sales cycle and closed deals at GBP25,000

* Have sold consistently month on month and have sold at least 12 deals at GBP25,000 per year

* Display a hunter mentality and be able to tell us confidently how they achieve their targets

* Be a good communicator, able to articulate, influence and challenge.

* Have a minimum of a 2:2 degree

* Have a stable work history
