This role reports into the Category Finance Director for our Savoury pastry division which is made up of Walkers Charnwood and Cornwall Bakery. We are flexible on location, but you will be required to travel to our sites in Leicester and Cornwall on a frequent basis.
The Role
In this role you will provide leadership and direction to the Commercial Finance team in supporting the Savoury Pastry Commercial Director, Savoury Pastry Finance Director, account management, and site teams to deliver the against the Savoury Pastry strategic objectives with existing or new customer/channels. You will help us to focus on business growth and profitability.
The Right Person
We are looking for someone who is operating at a Senior or Head of level supporting stakeholders within Senior teams who is analytical and commercially minded. We are also looking for:
–Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
–A background in a manufacturing and/or FMCG business would be desirable
–Strong technical data–management and reporting experience
–Have a career to date delivering demonstrable value adding analysis, insight, and process improvement preferable in the commercial arena.
–An ability to influence others which can be demonstrated through previous stakeholder interactions.
–Have experience within a leadership role on a business management team with a track record of success.
