Group HR Director (BPO / start–up)
Location: Remote role, with opportunity to work from the London–office when you wish. Frequent international travel.
Salary: GBP60,000 – GBP70,000
Direct reports: 7
Company: international outsourcing business offering IT software development services & contact centre services. Ca 230 staff in 5 different locations (more to come!)
In this newly created leadership–role, you will report directly to the CEO and have full responsibility for creating and implementing the People & HR strategy, and vision of the company.
You will provide inspirational leadership focused on employer branding, talent nurturing, retention, training plans, benefits, evaluations, and engagement.
You have a passion for people, and a proven track record of delivering successful HR strategies and motivating remote, international teams. You will be traveling frequently, spending time with the teams in the 5 different office locations around Europe.
You:
* Experienced HR Director or Head of HR, ideally from a Technology start–up, Software Development or a BPO / Contact Centre organisation going through a period of rapid growth
* Inspirational, creative and flexible.
* Have an international outlook and experience of dealing with employees of different nationalities and cultures
Key responsibilities will include:
* Build and implement a first–class HR & people strategy that enables the business to grow
* Work closely with the CEO to establish the business values & branding plan, to create an iconic company culture
* Improve employee retention by creating a well–being and engagement strategy, focused on personal attention
* Oversee and mentor a small team of HR–professionals (remotely), currently 7 direct reports
* Work with the senior management to provide them with effective HR support & input
This is a hands–on leadership and implementation role, with full accountability for the success of the people function within the company enabling continuous growth.
