Mobile Migrations Project Manager - remote (inside IR35)

The Migrations Senior Project Manager will lead a cross-functional project team of up 30 people, as well as multiple 3rd party suppliers.
The project manager will be responsible for the definition and delivery of time-critical outcomes, working with third party supplier organisations who are delivering key components of the overall solution. This project is delivering the migration strategy for a number of Mobile Network Services.

Responsibilities:
The Migrations Senior PM will pick up a workstream or more within the Subscribers Migrations programme and be accountable and responsible for the delivery of a number of services implementation, testing and launch over a new Mobile Cloud Core, and finally migrating subscriber traffic for those services, to the new Mobile Cloud core.
The migrations senior PM will have to manage technical design resources, solution architects, test and operational resources to deliver his/her workstream by the required deadline dates.
This programme of work has hard deadlines, that cannot be changed, therefore the migrations senior PM will be responsible to create a plan of delivery that meets those deadlines.
. Leading - Mobilising and coordinating large virtual teams (Up to 30), often working with external partners and suppliers, to deliver against business objectives.
. Influencing - Using domain and industry experience to positively affect project delivery, introducing new ways of working.
. Planning - Ensuring that the project is appropriately scaled and resourced to deliver the agreed outcomes.
. Negotiating - Interlocking scope and phasing between projects, to deliver outcomes against agreed business demand.
. Driving - Making delivery and prioritisation decisions on a daily basis to manage level of risk. Measured on successful delivery against project outcomes, primarily anchored around time, cost and quality.
. Governing - responsible for all project governance, including financial, budget management (for up to GBP1m annual budget) and financial risk management across the project
. Reporting - responsible for managing delivery risk across the project of work, providing valuable management reporting across the entire stakeholder base.
. Collaborating -
Working with other Galaxy programme managers and project managers to manage cross-programme dependencies.
Engaging with stakeholders, to manage expectations, and to help plan the subscribers' migrations to ensure seamless transition to the new Mobile Cloud Core.
Managing third party suppliers for delivery of features and additional functionality required for the end to end service redesign and delivery.

Experience required:
1. Broad knowledge of and significant experience with Core Mobile architectures, including Cloud products and services.
2. Knowledge and experience of Agile concepts and ways of working.
3. Proven stakeholder management skills.
4. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, comfortable with presenting at Director level.
5. High level technical know-how of 5G, 4G, 3G and 2G technologies in the context of network core services delivery. Minimum 5 years -
