On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Analyst (Data Segregation) for a 3 Month contract based remotely.

Purpose of the Role:

  • Work with the Functional Leads (Finance/Procurement) to assess and document data safeguarding compliance of key Business Applications (eg SAP/Coupa) across several dimensions covering processes, organisations, locations, data, applications, technology and customers.

As a Business Analyst (Data Segregation) you will be responsible for:

  • Organise and run workshops with Functional Leads (Finance & Procurement) to assess gaps and risks to meet data safeguarding standards.
  • Support requirements gathering/gap analysis, impact assessment, clarification and prioritisation.
  • Work with the responsible and accountable system & data owners to capture their views and evidence in meeting required standards.
  • Capture any assumptions, risks or dependencies attached to requirements and ensure clear ownership of any actions to resolution through PMO governance controls.
  • Support solution architects and project managers in the sizing/estimation of design, build and test work effort, including clarifications back to the requirement owners on content and prioritisation.
  • Work with Product Owners to understand Role Based Access controls and constraints within applications.
  • Work with security and governance leads to validate requirements against existing policies and standards.
  • Produce and maintain quality requirement traceability documentation, including auditable approvals, prioritisation and change where applicable. Manage Sprint ceremonies including sprint user story planning and retrospective reviews.

What we require from the candidate:

  • Experience within a relevant industry - Aerospace/Defence/Manufacturing/Engineering is essential
  • Experience working on large scale outsourcing transformation programmes
  • Previous experience working of in regulated industries on projects delivering sensitive data segregation solutions
  • Demonstrable experience of capturing detailed IT enablement requirements from business process maps and working procedures
  • Demonstrable experience of capturing and delivering Role Based Access Control requirements and developing use cases to support validation and testing
  • SAP/Coupa systems experience is highly desirable
