Head of Sales – Freight Forwarding
Our client, based in East London, has many years of history in Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain solutions. They are a global company with an eye to the future and they are looking to hire a leader for their Sales department that can grow with the company.
Head of Sales
can be located anywhere in the UK
GBP70k salary for the right candidate
Uncapped commission – 10% in 1st year of contract, 8% 2nd year, 5% 3rd year
You will have a history of leading sales teams in logistics or freight forwarding – this may be as Senior Sales, Sales Manager, Sales Director, Business Development Manager, or Head of Sales, but you must be able to demonstrate excellent billings across Freight, logistics or supply chain and ideally freight app technology.
You will be charged with running and managing a team of 4 salespeople.
You will lead from the front in your approach, in setting examples and in your revenue.
You will have proven billings of minimum GBP2m t/o – GBP300k GP IN FREIGHT – we do not require candidates from outside the freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain industry.
China and India are particular strengths, but USA growth is desired and Australasia experience would be helpful.
