Specialist Recruitment Group based in Barnet /North London urgently require an ambitious Qualified Management Accountant to work closely with the company Directors , Senior Operations and Management teams. This recently established, dynamic organisation has been busy acquiring high performing niche recruitment and business services companies as a way of growing their own business a sole charge role ,you will have total responsibility for developing and growing the finance function and for setting up systems and procedures to integrate the various entities in to the main business .
Duties will include :
Preparation of monthly Financial and Management accounts
Profit and loss and Balance sheet reporting
Monthly reconciliations and control accounts
Budgeting ,cash flow forecasting and variance reporting of key performance indicators
Effective cash management
Liaising with external Auditors , Accountants and Factoring companies on a regular basis .
The ideal candidate will/ be :
Qualified ACA , ACCA or CIMA with 2- 5 years post Qualification experience
Have the ability,versatility and propensity to initially work in a very hands on sole charge role and subsequently train and manage a small team
Have previously worked in a growing SME environment preferably recruitment or Business services with a large Temp payroll.
Have experience and knowledge of dealing with factoring companies & invoice discounting procedures
Commercially astute with the ability to think outside the box and add value
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Strong IT skills including Sage 50 and Advanced excel
