A leading global pharmaceuticals business is looking for a Business Project Manager - Pharma.
The Business Project Manager - Pharma will be responsible for:
Manage and deliver the project delivery work streams using effective project & change management techniques and disciplines.
Plan, lead and co-ordinate business resource from a Matrix organisation to deliver a project. This will include project and delivery experts provided by product suppliers.
Formulate with the overall programme leadership, customers and relevant stakeholders, the project strategy that best balances the needs of the project with resource and risk considerations.
Work formally and informally in partnership with the global process owner (GPO), with programme leadership and other stakeholders to ensure success of the Project.
Assist the global process owner in defining detailed Business requirements. The GPO will be accountable for process design and obtaining agreement and commitment to this design.
Develop and secure IS agreement to detailed project deliverables and budgets on the basis of close co-operation with the IS functions.
Review progress, costs and risks to ensure that timelines and other deliverables are met, and initiate and implement corrective action in the event of any identified deviation from plan.
Deliver excellent stakeholder management by using formal methodology and implementing stakeholder plans to ensure buy-in at all times.
- Prince 2 or Agile is desirable
- Business project management experience essential, would not suit IT project management
- Master data experience desirable
- Experience of working in large complex organisations essential
- Pharmaceuticals experience
The Business Project Manager - Pharma will be remote with base location as Cambridge.
Degree or equivalent professional qualification
Extensive process/organizational transformation experience
Significant work experience in Finance related activities
Good knowledge of ERP environments
Significant experience of global technology implementations (Ariba, ERP, T&E)
Proven experience of change management
Program and change management qualification.(Prince/APM/MSP/Lean/Agile etc)
Experience of Delegation of Authority concepts
Experience and proven results of change projects within the Pharma industry.
