Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: GBP39,445 per annum Plus generous benefits. These include:

48 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)

About the role

As part of a curriculum restructure effective from 2021–22, a new post of Deputy Head of Curriculum has been created in the curriculum area of HE and Professional.

You will support the Head of Curriculum Area, to deliver our strategy to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment so that our student outcomes continue to be outstanding. Working at all times in accordance with College Values, and through effective planning you will deliver high quality teaching learning and assessment; and provide effective support to students.

About the Person

You will possess a degree in a relevant subject (or appropriate professional qualification), a Certificate in Education/PGCE/DTTLS or equivalent, and English and Maths GCSE grade A–C (or equivalent). You must be able to teach a caseload within our Higher Education provision: https://(url removed)/course–types/higher–education.html. Applications are welcome from those with experience in Higher, Professional or Teacher Education.

In terms of your experience you will be able to demonstrate a track record of successful teaching experience in the curriculum area and evidence strong outcomes for students, and a knowledge and understanding of current developments in HE and Professional and in the subject areas in the curriculum area.
