Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: GBP39,445 per annum Plus generous benefits. These include:
48 days annual leave per year (including bank holidays and efficiency closures)
Membership of Teachers Pensions Scheme
About the role
As part of a curriculum restructure effective from 2021–22, a new post of Deputy Head of Curriculum has been created in the newly configured curriculum area of Health, Care and Education.
You will support the Head of Curriculum Area, to deliver our strategy to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment so that our student outcomes continue to be outstanding. Working at all times in accordance with College Values, and through effective planning you will deliver high quality teaching learning and assessment; and provide effective support to students.
About the Person
You will also possess a suitable assessor qualification L3 CAVA (or equivalent), and be an Internal Quality Assurer for this area of the curriculum.
In terms of your experience you will be able to demonstrate a track record of successful teaching experience in the curriculum area and evidence strong outcomes for students, and a knowledge and understanding of current developments in FE and in the curriculum area.
