The Company
The company is a well renowned 3PL business with a specialist service provided to the automotive industry at all levels directly with OEM as well as suppliers within the supply chain.
They have gone through substantial growth due to diversification of industry and clients allowing for a larger operation.
The Role
Generating new leads and capturing them on the internal CRM system
Understanding and promoting the company strategy
Effectively communicate with potential new customers to drive both continued revenue, profit growth and increased engagement
Negotiating contracts with prospective customers
Driving growth of the business through new customers and enhanced offerings from existing customers
Assisting the directors in developing the department and delivering the company goals
Giving sales presentations to a range of customers
Tracking and communicating sales management figures and presenting to the internal stake holders
The Person
Able to demonstrate achievements within a similar role within the logistics market
Track record of achieving revenue and profit targets
Proven success of generating new business
Ability to identify opportunities
Excellent negotiating skills
Strong understanding of B2B and working collaboratively across functions to achieve success
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of organisations
Experience of working within a fast paced, high growth logistics environment
Track record of managing multiple commercial processes (budgets, contract renegotiation, KPI measurement), forecasting precisely, and identifying the solutions we can offer resulting in a positive commercial outcome
