Associate Account Director/Account Director, Business Development – Biopharma

PPD is now actively recruiting for an Associate Account Director/Account Director to join our Business Development team. This position supports PPD's Biopharma business and is an outstanding opportunity to demonstrate your success so far in securing new business opportunities and develop your commercial career further.
In this role you will secure and retain business for PPD through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision makers and decision influencers at existing and new clinical sponsors. This position will also be responsible for positioning PPD as a primary provider for all clinical development work to be outsourced, qualifying deals and developing proposals, and acts as a liaison between sponsor and company on all business development activities and requirements. You will work in dynamic commercial environment and have partnerships with a high caliber team.
*Qualifications:*
Ideally, you will have:
• Bachelors degree in science or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.
• Industry sales experience and proven track record of proactive selling and relationship building
• The ability to professionally present capabilities, manage the sales process through to close and handle all aspects of contract negotiations.
