Lead Mechanical Project Manager

The Client

Our multi award winning client specialise in forward thinking sustainable energy systems which they tailor make for both public and private sector businesses. They have a current vacancy for a Lead Mechanical Project Manager within the Manchester area which will to work on a high value mechanical plant room installation and we are happy to submit candidates from out of the area as lodgings can be provided.

The Role and its Responsibilities

Overseeing all areas of project to ensure the successful conclusion
Quality assurance
Attending and leading of meetings
Report production
Health and Safety and Industry legislation knowledge
Ability to work cohesively with engineering, supervisory staff and management
Overall responsibility for site staff
Regular client liaison
Organisation of site deliveries
Assisting planners to ensure materials and contractors are being implemented at correct times
Management of sub–contractors, to include construction
Working with the design, project, planning and commercial teams

The Individual

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in the field of decentralised energy and building service projects of high commercial values. You must be able to communicate effectively and be a confident negotiator in order to complete projects with successful outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Project Management.
Excellent client facing skills
Commercially aware

Salary and Package

GBP60K plus favourable car allowance of GBP6K and company package to include healthcare and pension
