A Bit About Us:
At AO, we want to make sure our customers are happy. When they have a smile on their face, we know we've done a good job. It's at the heart of everything we do, and it's why our logo is always smiling.
When it comes to appliances and electricals, we've got the lot. Washing machines? Yep. TVs? Check. Laptops? Absolutely. Everything except doorbells (just kidding, we've got those too).
It started at a pub in Bolton with a GBP1 bet and a belief that things could be done better!
About The Project Manager – IT Services Role
Our Project Managers love the challenge of working to succeed even if the odds are stacked against them.
It's a fast paced environment where change comes often and collaboration is key. If you enjoy managing projects within a fast–paced environment and like variety rather than specialising in one specific area this would be a great experience for you.
If you thrive on managing and successfully delivering multiple projects of various lengths simultaneously we would recommend you apply for this role. One thing we really need from you is your experience of working on IT and Estates projects with in–house and external teams across various systems and location that support an ecommerce business like ourselves.

For each project you will be the single point of contact for key business stakeholders in regard to managing their expectations around scope, timescales, risks, dependencies, etc. You will need to facilitate project meetings including project kick offs, team meetings, stand ups and retrospectives.
A Few Things About Our Project Manager – IT Services:
We prefer close collaboration over long–winded documentation, so you need to be a great communicator and have solid interpersonal skills. Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products is key.
– 3+ years' experience in an IT Project Management role
– Knowledge of both Agile & Waterfall methodologies including experience with Scrum and Kanban
– Ability to identify and apply the optimum Project Methodologies and processes required on a project by project basis in order to ensure delivery
– Ability to manage large–scale complex projects with fixed deadlines

With AO, the sky's the limit. We'll support you to be the best version of yourself and always drive your career forward.
We keep things simple. We say things like "treat every customer like they're your gran" and "make decisions your mum would be proud of" because we're personal and act with integrity – every day in every action.
