About the Opportunity
At Studio Retail Ltd, we are constantly evolving to meet our customers' needs and our Business Change team plays a key role in achieving business objectives and strategy.
As part of the development and expansion of our Business Change department, we are now hiring a Business Analyst to contribute to the effective delivery of a digital transformation programme. This is a great opportunity to be part of shaping the future of the organisation as we become a more digital business, acting as the conduit between the internal customer and IT, providing the required analysis and stakeholder management.
This role is a permanent role in the Studio Business Change Team, reporting into a Project Manager /Business Manager and within the IT and Change directorate.
As Business Analyst you will be:
* supporting the creation of business cases as required,
* Gathering, creating and documenting agreed business requirements for the project,
* Gathering, creating and documenting 'as is' and 'to be' policies, processes and procedures, including transition
* Identifying and documenting the business change impacts to inform 'Business Readiness Plans',
* Supporting Business Acceptance testing activities, ensuring the delivered solution meets the agreed business requirements
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Business Analyst who has extensive working knowledge of within the retail or financial industries working on complex change projects.
We are driving significant change and transformation, so we need people who can deliver in a fast–paced environment, have excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage, challenge and work collaboratively with others to achieve productive solutions.
We want to speak with people who relish delivering change, are prepared to work hard and smart and enjoy celebrating success.
* Extensive working knowledge and/or qualified in Business Analysis/6 sigma or equivalent change methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile/Waterfall etc)
* Ability to deliver in a fast–paced environment and deliver simultaneous change/improvement projects and activities
* Proven track record in effective facilitation and communication at multiple levels
* Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at an appropriate level
* Is analytical, pragmatic and systematic in approach to problem solving
* Ability to manage conflict and knows when to escalate
* Able to bring a relevant and effective analytical 'toolset' and experience to Studio
* Ability to analyse requirements and processes and provide solutions, structure, gap analyses regarding project deliverables
* Self–motivated with the ability to work individually and as part of a wider team when required
* Experience of working with one or more change methodologies and practices (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
* Extensive working knowledge of MS Office Suite – Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Visio; MS Project; Outlook
