A market leader in the door and window hardware industry are looking for a business development manager in the Midlands region to join their experienced external sales team at an exciting stage in their growth. Trading in the UK market for over thirty years, the company are looking to expand capability and bring new people on board to help them achieve further sales growth, offering excellent career opportunities going forward.
Reporting to the head of UK sales, the business development manager will be responsible for all aspects of external sales for the Midlands region with a view to achieving the overall aims of the company i.e. brand image, product mix, sales budgets, profitability and market penetration.
Who are we looking for?
Matched with the ability to identify and exploit new business opportunities from existing and new accounts, we are looking for someone with experience in building relationships and selling to a core customer base of architectural ironmongers, builder's merchants and locksmiths.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to present and communicate at all levels, competent IT skills and ideally have a DipGAI or RegAI qualification.
