Our Client is seeking an experienced Digital Business Analyst to support on a large scale CDS programme.
TASKS
Advise project leadership on project issues, progress, plans to resolve.
Attend client workshops and provide consultancy/advice on technical decisions and designs.
Work well under pressure
Work with Service/Product Managers to devise appropriate research strategies to generate focused insights and to convert concepts into high quality stimulus material.
Work with the existing CDS teams to maintain a current understanding of the CDS solution as it evolves through successive releases.
Write high quality content for the Client's new digital services that will encourage people to use them.
Take complex language and processes and make them simple to understand.
Develop content in such a way that it will encourage people who rarely go online to do so.
Write and refine user stories, including definition of Acceptance Criteria.
Requirements and Scope management and communication, Requirements analysis and validation.
Share knowledge of tools/techniques with technical and non–technical team members in the wider digital team and across government, acting as mentor to other junior user researchers.
Write and maintain documentation including information about APIs and security.
Help to plan, and attend user research and feedback relevant information to the development teamMANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Technical Analyst who is comfortable with XML / Version Control / Config Management and has excellent attention to detailDESIRABLE TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Understands intelligent automation technologies such as chatbots and AI
Sound understanding of the digital landscape Process Flow
Capture Leadership, team working and collaboration
User journeys Data wrangling, including understanding of SQL (estate currently includes use of Oracle, Ingres, MySQL) and Hadoop.
Experience working with IT projects spanning multiple teams and business areas
Experience in working projects in an Agile Scrum environment
Experience in re–engineering legacy systems
Experience in mapping to–be technical solutionsMANDATORY BUSINESS SKILLS:
Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills, including technical writing ability (including User Stories, Process Flow, Entity Relationship Modelling, State Transition).DESIRABLE BUSINESS SKILLS:
Writing and refining user stories, including definition of Acceptance Criteria operating model development
Facilitating design sessions with the development team to define the solution
Detailed understanding of Systems Life Cycles, in particular the requirements and analysis phases
Ability to build and maintain good Client relationships
Strong decision making and judgement, influencing, and presentation skills to development areas and to client base strong evidence of skill competency around flexibility, attention to details, communicating, conflict management, decisions making and judgement influencing.
