Kingscroft is working with a relatively small but well–established specialist contract manufacturer to recruit a new Managing Director as part of a business growth plan.

As the perfect candidate you will have previous experience as a Managing Director or General Manager within an SME manufacturing business. Ideally you will have experience within a contract manufacturing or short production run environment where sales and commercial strategy feed quickly into shop floor outputs. You will have experience of developing and delivering a business plan to achieve the company targets and total responsibility from a commercial and operational perspective.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing a clear business plan and company strategy

Develop plans to achieve that strategy to include people , facilities and resources

Drive commercial success

Profit & Loss

Reporting to the board on progress and strategic requirements

Provide leadership ,development and structure to the team

Take a lead role in being customer facing

Lead performance across sales , operations , planning , manufacturing ,operations , quality and HS through your team.
