Cloud Architecture Director required to help lead the growing and successful world class Financial Services Cloud engineering practice offering expertise to some of the worlds largest financial institutes in Cloud Strategy, deep cloud adoption and implementation. You should have experience in heading up and growing Cloud engineering teams and defining what constitutes best practice in engineering delivery.

Key Skills & Experience in any mixture of the following

• PaaS platform: Cloud Foundry, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, IBM Bluemix, SAP Cloud Platform, Azure PaaS, RedHat OpenShift
• Containerisation platform: Kubernetes, Docker
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Bluemix, SAP Cloud
• Programming: Java, Python, .net, C#

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of new, next-generation cloud based solutions
• Refactor existing Legacy solutions to adopt a Microservices-based architecture.
• Replatform solutions to operate in PaaS environments.
• Execute PoC, MVP and Application Transformation projects
• Lead developers and get involved in the hands-on coding/development of projects.
• Driving thought-leadership within the organisation, our clients and the industry at large.
• Use modern software development and DevOps practices such as CI/CD, Agile, Scrum, XP and Domain Driven Design.
• Advise on Cloud Native application development best practices
• Whilst you will be a technical heavyweight and thought-leader; we will stretch you further and leverage our unbeatable partnerships to ensure you remain at the forefront

Main Responsibilities:

• Engage with CxO level stakeholders to develop the cloud strategies,
• Driving and Influencing change (Manage CxO level Stakeholders)
• Demonstrable Wealth experience
• Lead teams of 2-20 Architects
• Engage with and manage Programme Managers/Directors
• Delivery focused Architect - with strong leadership quality.
