Finance Business Partner

Main activities/responsibilities:

Financial modelling and analysis to underpin business decisions on Qualification and Online Schools portfolio.
Detailed business analysis and insight, presentable to key stakeholders that outline opportunities, risks and identification of potential mitigations to support financial reporting and planning processes.
Improvement of reporting where applicable to meet business needs.
Set up new processes and performance reporting for Online Academy, working with Global Process and within Controls framework.
Deliver high quality, auditable work, and support in demonstrating evidence to auditors if necessary.
Presenting results of work back to key stakeholders.
Consistent and extensive collaboration within Finance and across business units, including international colleagues.Required skills:

Qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience.
Fluent English speaker.
Strong understanding of materiality, ability to prioritise across competing agendas and adaptable.
Ability to manipulate large and complex sets of data and provide meaningful insight to business stakeholders.
Highly analytical, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the bigger commercial picture and business impacts.
Advanced problem solving and root cause analysis ability combined with confident communication skills for conveying your conclusions, as well as ability to effectively communicate with and work alongside non–finance colleagues.
Self–starter who has the ability and drive to operate independently.
Comfortable working in cross–functional teams, and ability to navigate through a complex matrix structure and in an ambiguous environment.Trading as Aston Carter.
