We are looking for a proven, self–starting Project Manager to effectively manage and implement a whole range of Microlise projects. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in managing projects with large corporate brands and a confident communicator, negotiator and mediator.
In this role, you will build key relationships to manage projects from the inception through to completion, helping the customer through the transition to business as usual including, assisting in realising the benefits and tackling any challenges head on.

What you'll be doing
* Take ownership and responsibility for completing the project according to the project plan with attention to business, financial and technical integrity
* Manage your projects using Microlise standard processes inclusive of planning, issue management; risk management and change management
* Define the key milestones and deliverables which are used to measure project progress
* Manage project invoicing and man–time – current and projected – in line with agreed payment schedules
* Responsible for the communication through appropriate reporting procedure and process to both customer and internal projects audience
* Responsible for securing and allocating resource to achieving the deliverables of the project
* Ensure good product and market knowledge on a continuous and proactive basis.
* Ensure projects are successfully transitioned into the Microlise support department
We are looking for people with
* PRINCE2 Qualified to a Practitioner Level
* Demonstrable experience of managing complex and large projects
* Knowledge of business environments and working practices
* IT background with knowledge of logistics and or mobile worker terminology
* Impeccable level of communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to converse at all levels of business and society
* Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
* Ability to work effectively and to prioritise own workload
* Ability to use / present information (including personal IT skills)
* Highly self motivated – achiever of targets / deadlines, both personally and through team
* Ability to manage both upward, peer and subordinate relationships to the good of the Company
Technical Skills
* Windows based applications
* SQL
* Basic understanding of relational databases
* Ability to understand technical data flows
