An excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Director at a market leading solutions organisation specialising in data storage, virtualisation, cloud services and managed services. Providing consultancy and technology that deliver successful business outcomes for their clients.

About the Role – Account Director
* Identify and generate new prospects and convert them into key accounts
* Deliver sales growth across both managed cloud services and solutions business: identify, create, campaign and close IT solution sales opportunities within the customer base
* Effectively build, manage and maintain long–term customer relationships at the highest level (both new and existing accounts), to serve as a trusted adviser
* Generate new business by means of using existing industry network, prospecting and customer networks, in conjunction with our clients marketing activities
* Continually update and develop product and market knowledge
* Structured and methodical approach to understanding a customer's requirements/problems
* Identify and generate new prospects and convert them into key accounts
* Develop and manage key accounts to their full potential
* Continually update and develop product and market knowledge
You:
Experience in a similar sales role within the managed services industry and/or IT solutions
A proven IT sales track record, ideally in high–end products and solutions
A natural ability to build customer rapport
Self–motivation and ambition
The ability to manage time and workload
A natural business acumen
Experience of working at senior levels within a company
A proven ability to develop and close business opportunities
Excellent communication skills, (oral and written)
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Proven ability to achieve financial and personal targets
Positive and enthusiastic approach
