Project Manager Renewables

Our client is looking to secure a Project Manager with Renewables experience

Our client is looking to secure a Project Manager with previous Renewable Energy experience. The ideal candidate will have relevant consenting experience and been engaged in a range of onshore wind development activities from site selection and evaluation, through to submission of planning applications.

Duties include:

Managing the planning, management and delivery of onshore wind projects at all stages of development from site identification through to planning submission.
Consult with planning authorities, statutory consultees, stakeholder groups and the wider public, including presentations and co–ordination of community and stakeholder consultation meetings
Oversight and co–ordination of multi–disciplinary teams ranging from external partners through to internal teams
Manage project budgets and report on project progress
As the successful candidate you will have:

Preferably have degree in a relevant subject
Suitable industry experience in a relevant role
Knowledge and experience of Project Management
Detailed knowledge of the drivers for a successful wind farm development and understanding of the common risks.
Experience with the planning systems and planning policy relating to renewable energy.
Knowledge of Environmental Impact regulations.
Project economics & commercial aspects of projects.
Commercial management & business development
Excellent interpersonal skills.
An entrepreneurial approach and problem solving abilities.
Excellent project management skills.
Handle and co–ordinating inputs from external consultants and project team members.
Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships
IT proficient
