Title: Head of Events

Report to: Head of Operations, Managing Director

Hours: 8:30–5:30 Monday to Friday plus two Saturdays a month.

Objectives:

* You will need to serve as a company leader overseeing day to day event operations and focusing on long term interests of the business.

* Your goal will be to build a positive working environment, honing in on people's skills in order to get the maximum potential out of staff.

The roles and responsibilities:

Your priority is to manage the Events Pod. Looking after Staffing (including training of staff), event logistics and Admin.

Invoices – You will oversee the signing off, of all self–employed staff's invoices. These are your members of staff so you will need to be sure to look after them and make sure every little detail is communicated to them fully.

Event equipment: – You will be responsible for ensuring all event equipment is regularly audited, kept safe and in full working order both at our head office and also when transported to and from our events. You will be in charge of the creation and management of an accurate stock and equipment condition spreadsheet.

Recruitment and Training – You will oversee and manage a recruitment drive for new event staff. Come up with new ideas on how to recruit new better staff and develop the staff we currently have. This will include training staff and monitoring their progress. You will also manage recruitment for your own team.

Managing Events Staff – A constant line of communication between yourself and all events staff will be imperative. Ensuring they get constant updates on how we want them to perform and how they can improve in their job in order to better the company.

Company Leader – You will be tasked with moving your department forward in line with the company's goals and plans for the future. You will be required to respresent your department in weekly meetings with fellow heads of departments and one to one meetings with both Head of Operations and our Managing Director.
