We are currently recruiting for a Head of Digital Marketing to join our Marketing team based in Letchworth Garden City. This is a full time, permanent position offering a competitive salary plus attractive rewards and benefits.

As Head of Digital Marketing your main responsibilities will include:

In collaboration with the Marketing Director and wider key stakeholders, you will define the digital marketing strategy for the organisation and lead a Digital team of three to execute this strategy with excellence

As part of the digital marketing strategy, align with the Ecommerce National Account Manager to set an Ecommerce channel strategy and influence the delivery of the activities within this on time and in full, including the setting and measurement of KPI's

Responsible for owning and developing all digital corporate channels both internal and external, aligning with the marketing and Customer Account Support team as required

Leading the Digital team to deliver the day–to–day global performance of end–to–end customer journey, assuring you measure, optimise, improve, and personalise our digital demand generation programs bringing out the best of people, technology, and data

Identify current and future trends to ensure that the digital marketing strategy is fresh by staying up to date with the latest innovations, technologies, changes in competition, and shifts in the digital landscape. Translate these insights into commercial opportunities and future strategy

Lead digital innovation projects, and pioneer new ways to engage with customers digitally

Effectively lead the integration and communication of the digital marketing strategy within Marketing and across the business

Evaluation of ad–hoc Global digital opportunities and building business cases for these as appropriate adopting a 'test and learn' methodology

Lead process improvements, automation, and technology onboarding to improve and upscale marketing programs

Use data for reporting on marketing results, impact and recommendations for future action and investment

Prepare and manage the digital marketing budget

Manage the hiring, development, and retention of digital marketing talent.

What are we looking for?

Degree level education in Digital Marketing or relevant field

5+ years of B2B and or B2C experience in digital marketing. 3+ years in a digital management position

Proven experience in B2B and/ or B2C digital marketing

Extensive knowledge of digital marketing within fast paced high growth environments

Management level experience in strategic planning and execution with a proven track record of success

Experience of developing the right Digital marketing strategies to achieve business objectives

Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and deliver results

Ability to lead the Digital Marketing team in its day–to–day activities and develop talent

Proven background in driving digital innovation that adds value

Experience working with senior management (Directors and Board–level) with proficiency in presenting recommendations for marketing spend and projected return on investment (ROI)

Strong commercial acumen, with significant experience in analytical and metric thinking and planning

Possess a real understanding of consumer insight and customer needs, with thorough understanding of CRM and data

In–depth knowledge of the full marketing mix, with experience developing digital initiatives for new product launches

Expert knowledge in marketing technologies and know how to use this to improve and scale marketing outcomes

Confident leading teams and meetings, with clear agenda, actions, and progress reports to maximise efficiency of team resource

Strong budget management experience
