NG Bailey are currently looking for a project manager with electrical background, and experience of working on MEP/building services projects, to join us on our project in Burghfield, near Reading. In this role you will manage operational delivery of the project, in particular the commissioning process, ensuring it is carried out to the highest standards and making sure the installed building services operate in accordance with the design intent.

This is a staff role with NG Bailey, for a fixed term of 8 months with the possibility of being extended. Security clearance will also be required to join this project, therefore applicants must hold a British passport.

Key Deliverables

Operating in a nuclear environment that demands a meticulous focus on quality and safety and in accordance with project and company governance.

Forward thinking approach with a can do attitude.

Plan and arrange commissioning activities in accordance with the master programme.

Take ownership of site commissioning activities.

Produce and gain client acceptance of Commissioning Procedure documents

Witness and close out commissioning activities through to gaining client acceptance

Liaise with the project managers representatives

Liaise with specialist commissioning contractors

Write and maintain Safe Systems of Work including risk assessments.

Undertake pre commissioning system checks and produce reports as needed.

Attend meetings as needed.

Report progress to the commissioning manager

Essential Experience

Extensive experience in building services installation project management, including commissioning

Strong communication skills, ability to influence at all levels
