Finance Manager FMCG, Ely Cambridgeshire. Up to £70,000p/a + benefits
Your new company
A large organisation near Ely is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their growing Finance team organisation has a vast network of established relationships in their field and have production facilities across the world.
Your new role
As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for; engaging with key stakeholders to generate understanding of their business unit and the impact on the wider group and create an optimal financial reporting structure to support budgets with forecasts in line with business plans whilst minimising risk/ delivering good governance. You will be required to implement effective financial control and manage the shared service finance team in delivering SLA. You will be comfortable working with complex datasets in order to analyse trends and variances whilst providing timely information to budget holders. You will oversee the monthly management accounts and ensure statutory accounts are drafted in accordance with standards/ legislative requirements to ensure a satisfactory audit.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you as the Finance Manager will need to be a qualified accountant. You will ideally have experience in the FMCG/ Food Sector and have experience and understanding of the impact of Brexit on an international business. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing business risk, professional financial control and planning. Be able to demonstrate budget management, governance and the ability to interpret financial and commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate will be an advanced excel user and have excellent technical accounting skills, having used JDE is preferable but not essential.
