Regional Director – Business Development: Are you looking to leave corporate life to do something for yourself whilst staying within the IT and business leadership space?

Freeman Clarke is a growing business providing Fractional CTO's, CIO's and IT Directors to ambitious mid–sized companies with revenues of between GBP10m & GBP70m and frequently above. In order to drive new business growth an experienced IT Leader or IT consultant with entrepreneurial flair who can establish and develop a team of Fractional IT Leaders is required on a self–employed basis to win and retain new clients and achieve ambitious targets for growth and revenue.

Working on a self–employed basis throughout Yorkshire and the North East of England, the successful candidate will have extensive corporate/enterprise experience, preferably with blue–chip companies and may already be working independently with one or more clients.

You're likely to be already considering the Freeman Clarke fractional business model and have either started down that road or are considering starting. You will have ambitions to grow a revenue stream beyond your own time and capability and find the idea of growing a team of CIOs, CTOs and IT Directors within a geographic area exciting and challenging.

Key Responsibilities

Running a business within a business effectively taking responsibility for bottom line growth
Developing and managing effective marketing and networking campaigns
Drive the sales process from prospect through to client
Aiding in the central recruitment of local IT Directors (Principals)
Managing senior IT Professionals to get the best out of them for our clients
Account Management
Producing clear and concise proposals and consistently closing prospects
Developing relationships with 3rd parties to create a positive referrals environment

Skills & Experiences

You must be excited by the entrepreneurial, passionate world of SMEs and fast–growth start–ups
CIO, CTO, senior IT Director, IT Consultant experience within the enterprise/corporate space or as an IT Entrepreneur
Growing a revenue stream, marketing and sales
Leading and managing all sectors of IT and multiple industry sectors
Leading senior directors and consultants
Delivering Board level work, meetings, presentations and discussions
