Job Title: ERP Project Manager
Location: Birmingham (Home and Office Based with minimal UK/International travel Post–Covid)
Salary: Circa GBP60,000 to GBP66,000
Benefits: Car Allowance, Bonus 20%, Pension, Healthcare
This a rare opportunity to join a Global SAAS based ERP Software company in a Project Management role that offers a highly supportive and stable working environment where the average length of service is over ten years.
Due to internal promotion, the company are looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager from industry looking to take a step into consulting and to work with a wide variety of clients within the manufacturing sector.
Sectors include pharmaceutical, manufacturing, food, automotive, electronics and life sciences to name but a few.
They are happy to provide full training and development to ensure a successful transition into a consulting environment.
We would like you to be based within one to one and a half hours drive of Birmingham as post–Covid we would expect you to be in the office one day per week.
The Role
You will manage all aspects of medium as well as large, complex multi–site ERP implementation projects to ensure successful completion both in the UK and sometimes internationally.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, with agreed upon scope and will serve as focal point for communication to upper management, other departments and across project teams on all project information such as project status, project changes, project risks and technical information.
You will organise and execute projects by defining a project development strategy, identifying the roles and responsibilities of key project groups, allocating project resources to meet project goals, identifying project risks and mitigation strategy, and developing a project schedule with key milestones.
Key experience required
You will have project managed a large scale ERP implementation project spanning a large multi–site company within the manufacturing sector and will be keen to use and develop that experience on a variety client projects across multiple sectors.
You will have excellent organisational, leadership, decision making and written and oral communications skills.
You will have the capacity to become the trusted customer advisor and influencer by creating the required relationships and positively influence strategies and business directions in customers.
An understanding of the manufacturing environment, user needs, technological developments and trends is highly desirable.
We would expect you to be living within a reasonable commutable distance of the Birmingham head office to allow you to go in once a week.
It is likely that you will have experience as a: Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Programme Manager or ERP Project Manager and you will have your Prince 2 certification.
